Additional information | Igor Nunes Silva, Olhão, 1977. Traveled through Africa, Asia and Europe. In Denmark and Japan, he was involved in different cultures, experienced various techniques and integrated artistic projects. During the 90's, he dedicated himself to cybernetics sciences and arts of cultural traditions, namely Japanese. He guided an arts workshop for children accompanying a social solidarity project. He was one of the founders and mentor of a comic strip group. In the new millennium, he participated in national congresses with live painting, decorated commercial spaces some with national and international renown, collaborated with newspapers as a cartoonist, theater and cinema shows. In 2010, he participated in the anniversary of MTV-Portugal with the personification of the "MTV Toy" representing the Forum Algarve shopping center (Multi Mall Management). During his artistic career, he has also been awarded in some competitions. Between 2014 and 2015, he was in an artistic project in Brazil started in Campinas SP and Uberaba MG, exhibiting a collection of original artistic works and donating 50% of the proceeds. Held an art exhibition at Teatro SESI Uberaba-MG / Brazil. In June 2015, he participated, with sculptures, in a collective exhibition at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão. In October, he exhibits again, in Olhão, as part of the meeting "Poesia a Sul". In the same year, he designed the cover of the 10th anniversary LP/CD musical album "Viviane". In 2016, he collaborated in the film "Portugal is not for sale" by director André Badalo. In 2017, he participated with illustrations in the book Alquimia das Metáforas, by Fernando R. Luís, under the seal of Arandis Editora. |
