Additional information | Carlos Pedreañez was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, lives in Brazil since 2003. He develops visual projects linking experiences through different paths: visual arts, art installations, sets, video installations, video clips and projections mapped in real time (VJing) in shows musical and theatrical. Between 2012 and 2015, he conceived the video scenery and acted as “VJ” on the 7vidas tour of singer and songwriter Pitty, one of the most popular artists in Brazil. With Marcelo Jeneci, he produced the sound-interactive live for the show of the album "De Graça". In the last two years he worked with the singer and composer from Pernambuco Otto, and with the future-jazz group Lavoura, which he has been a member of since 2014. created animations for Estúdio BijaRi, which won the Shell Theater Award 2017 in the "Best Scenery" category with the show “Adeus, Palhaços Mortos!” In the art collective La Tintota, with designer and set designer Leo Ceolin and architect Flávio Lima, created scenographic projects for the operas "Tristão e Isolda", by Richard Wagner and "Samson et Dalila", by Camille Saint-Saëns - at the XIII Amazonas Opera Festival, and "Lulú", by Alban Berg - at the XVI Amazonas Festival of Opera Another outstanding project is the play “Cachorro”, directed by Juca Rodrigues and Roberto Lage (São Paulo, 2006), nominated for the Shell Theater Award 2007. Formed in expression pl artistic and pedagogical by the Fundación Instituto de Expresión y Creatividad (FIDEC), Carlos arrived in Brazil through the artist Maria Bonomi, with whom he worked as an assistant artist from 2003 to 2008. With Bonomi he developed several works in partnership, including “Tetraz”, at the British Cultural Center (São Paulo, 2003) and the exhibition "Infection of Memory" at the 4th International Print Prague (Prague, 2004).
